About the role

We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Operator who will primarily be based at our Waharoa site, to support day-to-day warehouse operations. This role is a Monday to Friday role, mostly working 8 hour days, with the need to have a variable starting time.  You will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, picking, preparing, and dispatching products while maintaining high standards of stock accuracy, housekeeping, documentation, and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Receive, unload, load and store finished goods, transferred products, and purchased products safely and accurately 
  • Pick, marshal, prepare and dispatch domestic and export orders, including safe use of forklifts, and materials handling equipment
  • Maintain accurate stock control through product checks, scanning, labelling, record keeping, stock movements, rotation, cycle counts and stock takes
  • Complete all warehouse documentation accurately, including scanning transactions, row cards, labels, load out documentation and receipt paper work
  • Maintain a clean, safe and well organised warehouse while following health, safety, hygiene, PPE and food store requirements and reporting hazards, incidents, damage or product concerns promptly

About You – Attitude Counts!

While previous warehousing experience would be helpful, it's your attitude, reliability, willingness to learn, and ability to work safely and as part of a team that will count the most.

To be successful in this role you will need to be:

  • Reliable and have a can-do attitude
  • Accurate when checking products, labels, quantities and documentation
  • Confident using basic computer systems, including Microsoft Office and data entry
  • Confident operating a forklift safely or willing to complete training
