Sales Co-Ordinator - Ice Cream

Bring your coordination skills to a busy, customer-focused role with Open Country Dairy’s Ice Cream team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys detail, deadlines, customer service and working across multiple systems and teams.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager – Ice Cream Sales, you’ll provide accurate and timely support across the sales order process. Working closely with Market Managers, Supply Chain, Documentation, Compliance, Technical and customer-facing teams, you’ll help ensure customer requirements are captured correctly and orders progress to deadline.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sales orders from quote through to sales ready, including tracking progress to meet deadlines.
• Enter and maintain accurate sales contrac information and customer order details.
• Prepare sales packs, including contracts, shipping instructions, labels and customer-specific requirements.
• Respond to customer enquiries, support issue resolution and coordinate complaint-related information.
• Coordinate technical requests, testing requirements, credits and debits with the relevant internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records and support process improvements across the sales support function.

About You

You’ll be organised, accurate and customer focused, with the confidence to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment. You’ll enjoy solving problems, following processes and working collaboratively.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in sales support, customer service, logistics, documentation, export support or a similar coordination role.
• Strong attention to detail, with confidence working across systems, data and documentation; NAV or similar system experience would be an advantage.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a practical, customer-focused approach to problem solving.
• Ability to follow processes, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Exposure to dairy, food manufacturing, export sales or supply chain environments would be beneficial.
