About the Role

As a packing operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Safely operating powder packing, palletising and powder handling equipment to achieve production and quality targets.
  • Operating and monitoring FMC (Bag-in-Box) filling and packing equipment, including completing quality and traceability checks.
  • Following HACCP, RMP and site compliance requirements while maintaining accurate production records and documentation.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, preventative maintenance activities and waste reduction across the site.

 

Roster: 2 days, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off, providing great work-life balance and regular time off between rotations.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • NCEA Level 1 (or equivalent) or relevant demonstrated experience.
  • Previous manufacturing or process operating experience with strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to health and safety.
  • The ability to work independently, follow procedures and maintain accurate records

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience operating automated packing, filling or food manufacturing equipment.
  • Forkhoist licence and/or First Aid certificate.
  • Experience with HACCP, RMP or primary industry compliance systems
